I have the unsavory task of integrating our QNX4 systems into our existing
NT network and I am a person with little networking experience. I would
just like to get an idea for how easily this is done. I have viewed the
TCP/IP Users Guide and it seems rather vague, making me all the more
hesitant about doing this. We are using an ethernet network. I just want
to know what I am up against and if anyone has suggestions to help out that
would be appreciated too.
Thanks,
Ross Brantner
What is it you need to acheive exactly? File sharing, web?

File sharing is essentially what I am after.

QNX has build-in capability (SMBfsys) to access a Windows shared drive.
For Windows to access QNX driver you have to install a free third party
software call Samba.
As for setting up TCP/IP a basic setup if fairly simple to do. It actually
gets quite easy if you have a DHCP server somewhere in the network.
I am sure you’ll find all the help in here to get you going.
