NFS and TCP/IP 5.0

Hi.

I tried to get NFS going under TCP/IP 5.0 and I didn’t get very far. I had
setup and got NFS running under TCP/IP 4.25.

I sounds like a few thins have changed? What are the proper command/setting
to set NFS under TCP/IP 5.0

TIA

Augie

Is it only NFS you’re having problems with? Try ftp’ing into your QNX box
from another box. Did you apply the security patch before installing
TCP/ip
5.0?

FTP, ping works just fine. Yes I installed the security patch.

I can’t get the nfsstart script to work.

Hi.

When I run the ‘nfsstart’ file that comes with tcp/ip 5 then I get the
following errors.

/usr/ucb/nfsd: not found
/usr/ucb/mountd: not found

What’s wrong with this? How do I fix it?

TIA

These are TCP/IP 4 executable. I think nfsstart is a leftover of
TCP/IP 4, instead start Nfsd.

I can’t get the nfsstart script to work.

Can you post your script, or the portion that is failing, so we can have a
better idea whats going on.
