Photon SnapShot

I’m trying to use the Photon SnapShot facility to capture some screen images
to transfer into Microsoft Windows for augmentation and documenation
purposes. I saved a user defined screen area to a file screen1.bmp and used
ftp to get it across to a Windows box. But… Windows does not
recognise it as a bitmap (or anything else). I guess it hasn’t been saved by
Photon as a bitmap, how do I do this ?

You can get SnapShot to create a .bmp file. Watch out if you
initiate the ftp session from Windows. The default transfer
mode is Text mode. This will corrupt a .bmp file.

You must setup your printer before
and select BMP spool file as your default printer.
