IBM 1 GB Microdrive using PCMCIA slot

Hi.

We have the IBM 1 GB Microdrive working under QNX4 using the IDE port. Is
it possible to use the 1 GB Microdrive on the laptop connected to the PCMCIA
slot?

Any ideas on how this may work?

TIA

Augie

This should be possible. You will have to do the normal
‘pin con >> /etc/config/pcmcia.cards’ and then restart ‘Pcmcia.generic -i0’.
Make sure that you have an unused IRQ available in you pcmcia.cfg file.
You should then be able to start ‘Fsys.eide eide -aioport -iirq …’.
You will then see an entry under /dev and you can mount the drive.
