Add TCP/IP module

Please ignore my previous posts!

I have a QNX system with CDROM and have ordered and received the TCP/IP
module.

I have loaded the Bootable Install Licence floppy disc and the Product Suite
CD and rebooted the system to run the QNX installer.

I got to the screen “Choose a target for the QNX filesystem”

For the target I chose the existing QNX partition and clicked the ‘Allow
upgrades’ option.

I then get presented with a Warning dialog box stating “You are about to
upgrade an existing QNX filesystem. Do you wish to proceed?” - at which
point I am hesitant to continue.

  1. Does continuing overwrite all existing QNX settings and modules?
  2. I only want to install the TCP/IP module - at which point and how do I do
    this?

Any help appreciated!

QNX web site
http://support.qnx.com/support/docs/qnx4/user_guide/install.html
states:
If from CD-ROM…
If you have a QNX Products CD-ROM, you can install whatever products are on
the CD-ROM, provided you have the appropriate licenses.

In this procedure, you’ll need to enter the license information that was
included in the package you purchased.

\

You must be running Photon to do a CD-ROM install.

\

1… Insert the CD-ROM.
2… Run the Package Installer.
3… From the list of available products, click on the product you want to
install.
4… When prompted to do so, enter the appropriate license information for
each product you’re installing.
5… Follow the instructions on your screen.
How can I tell if my system is running Photon and how do I start the Package
Installer?
