On the QNX website they have listed support for the AMD 79C971 and 972
controllers. We
have a SBC here containing a 79C975 controller. According to AMD these are
suppose to be
compatible. I’ve had some odd behavior with this SBC in that on a few
occasions the network
stopped working. No FLEET, no TCP/IP, in or out, but everything in the
system else ran fine.
Has anyone used the 79C975 series and has anyone seen any problems with it?
I really like the
SBC this chip is in, but I must make sure that there are no problems lurking
in the future with the
network. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
