Hi
I’ve created a QNX4 boot floppy to use as a rescue disk. There is one
feature that I haven’t been able to duplicate on the floppy that I can
easily achieve on hard disk boot systems.
I want to be able to hit the key in the middle of a shell line
and have it delete characters left of the cursor. I’ve passed all the same
options to Dev & Dev.con. I’ve done the same stty commands but still to no
effect.
What is the missing magic?

I beleive you need come config done in /etc/profile (down the bottom from
memory)
plus all the terminfo stuff.
I have all the terminfo stuff. What am I missing from /etc/profile?
BTW, thanks for trying Mario

Yes, it may need a /usr/lib/terminfo/q/qnx file. And, is your
TERM environment variable set?

Actually nothing, I was confused.

There are only two kinds of mistakes in this world.
- mistakes you can blame on someone else
- stupid mistakes
I could swear that I was running the full shell. But I was running esh.
