I’am using an Adventech SBC with a Geode CPU and Chipset. I need to know
how to install QNX 4.25 on a compactflash IDE card, it’s the secondary
master on that CPU board. If I plug a QNX harddrive as the primary master
QNX works find.
can somebody help me I’am new with QNX installation…

The install scripts want to write to the hard drive on your machine that
is first in the boot order chain. If you leave the primary master
unplugged, then the primary slave is next in line. If you leave both
the primaries unplugged, then the secondary master will be the boot
drive and you should be able to do a normal installation from floppies
or a CD.
Are you trying to set up the compact flash card to be the hard drive for
your system, or are you trying to install QNX onto that card so that you
can plug the card into another machine?
