In QNX4.

In QNX6 it is much larger, if there is ny limit at all.

In either case, the goal is to include as little as possible in the
build image. Just get access to a file system where the rest of the
initialization can take place.

In QNX6 it is much larger, if there is ny limit at all.

On a PC it’s 3M I beleive.

In either case, the goal is to include as little as possible in the
build image. Just get access to a file system where the rest of the
initialization can take place.

I initally thought that it was 512k

As I said it depends on BIOS, for example if you are using disk on chip the
max size is smaller because the DOC are using some memory for the bios
extension.
