which notebook can support qnxrtp?

Hi:
I want to install qnxrtp in a notebook for development,
but it is hard to find a notebook which can support audio/video/network
for rtp.

Does someone know which type of notebook will support
qnxtrp? can you give me some advice?

Thanks.

Well, I do all my development on an Acer Travelmate 737TLV. Nice machine,
good screen and everything is now fully supported on this baby. It
has built in Intel ethernet, ATI Rage something-or-other that
works great, ESS Solo audio. The only thing that won’t work with the
current release is the pccard. But that has been fixed and will be
in the next release/patch (let me know if you need it).

PS - The only thing that isn’t supported is the built-in Lucent WinModem.

hi,

I think I will look to buy an model like this. BTW can you keep the
CDROM drive and floppy in the same time … If you have the CDROM
plugged and if you want to boot from floppy . Can you ?
On the other hand do you have an DVD cdrom … Solaris 8 does not want
to boot from DVD …)

Hi Chris,

Thanks for this advice. It really is helpful to know these types of things
when selecting a laptop. I notice that this system comes with 128 MB of
memory. Momentics now requires 256. On top of that, I am having a hard time
finding the 737TLV system. If you have any suggestions on any of the systems
that are currently manufactured by Acer or of a place to get the 737TLV (I
can add another 128), please let me know.

Sincerely,
Biren Mehta

That is the last laptop I have tried QNX on actually. It is still running
things just fine. Although I did drop in a 256M SODIM to bump up the memory
a little (cost $30 on crucial.com).
