PPP Disconnecting

I own a Zoom external modem model V34+. Is this considered as a “real”
modem? I manage to dial and connect to my isp, but after a pppd connection
it disconnects. On QNX site, this problem is mentioned and “they are looking
into it”. Any improvements yet?

Can you do these on you RTP ?

  1. login as root

  2. start a “Terminal”

  3. touch /var/log/syslog

  4. syslogd &

  5. phdialer -d

And email me whatever comming up on your “Terminal” and also
the “/var/log/syslog” file.

I am having a similar problem, I get disconnected because the Remote IP
Address cannot be determined, anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks
