Newbie question

Can I compile Watcom C++ under QNX neutrino systen?

Thx anyway.

Yes and no (how’s that for definitive?). Yes you can compile C++ code on
QNX6 (Neutrino), no it probably won’t go without at least slight
modifications. This is a guess on my part, but as far as I know the GNU
tools don’t support the exact same #pragma’s as Watcom so I’d assume you’d
have to tweak a few things. An experienced C++ programmer may be able to
speak to whether or not a majority of the code will convert “as-is”…

That’s mean if I want to compile with WatCom C++, I have to use QNX 4.25,
right?

How can I have the disk of QNX 4.25? I can’t find it in get.qnx.com.

That’s correct.

Unfortunately, QNX4.25 is not part of our free offering. The get.qnx.com
program only applies to the RtP (QNX6).

You will have to contact your QNX sales representative to purchase it, it is
a commercial product.
You will also have to purchase the Watcom compiler for QNX4, the watcom
compiler you have is probably for DOS.
