Ahem… What Chris meant to say was…

First of all, do you intend to install QNX4, or the QNX
Realtime Platform (RTP)?
They are two different operating systems. Can you give a
more complete description of your PC-104 hardware? Do you
have an interface to a CD-ROM drive, or a floppy, or a hard
drive? Do you want to install to a hard drive, or to flash?

Once we know the answers to some of these questions, then
people in this newsgroup (or the appropriate newsgroup) can
help you more.

According to the documentation for this board from JumpTEC’s website,
it has an IDE interface, as well as most other interfaces of a
standard motherboard. The chipdisk is an IDE compatible device.
You will need to install the QNX OS to a hard drive from floppy.
You can do this right on the JumpTEC card. Once that’s done, and
you have the board booting from a hard drive, you can create a
boot image and a small filesystem for the chipdisk, and boot from
that. Consult your QNX manuals for instructions on how to create
boot images, etc., and your JumpTEC manuals for hardware interfacing
instructions.
