networking with Windows 2000

I have a home LAN. The computer with the Internet connection runs Windows
2000 Pro and shares the connection to the other 2.

I’ve run the QNX demo in one of the other 2 computers and it found the LAN
and the connection to Internet.
I was thrilled, I’ ve downloaded the CD image of the QNX RTOS and I
installed it but now it won’t find my network adapter.
How can I install a network adapter manually???

And how can I change the refresh rate of a Matrox Mystique that computer
using???
During installation I’ve set the refresh rate to 80Hz but I got the standard
60Hz and it won’t change :frowning:

I’m fun of Windows for years now… I tried to use Linux for a change but it
was a disaster (three different efforts)
When I run the QNX demo I realized that it was something I can use and
love at the same time…
If I manage to solve these two problems, then you can count me in this
community

what network adapter is it?

My network adapter is a Genius GE2000III card.
Its Realtec RTL8019 PnP LAN Adapter compatible…

I remind you that the QNX4 Demo disk find it and used the internet
connection that was shared by my Win2K PC.
But the QNX RTOS I’ve installed sees no network device and I don’t know how
to install one manually…

Can you help me with this??

Hi Kazantzis,

Is the adapter a PCI adapter? If so could you post the output from pci -vvv?

Thanks.

Erick.
