I have a 3Com Etherlink 10/100 PCI NIC (3C905-TX) ethernet card and would
like to connect to internet at my office, so I can introduce this great OS
to my friends. This card is listed as supported hardware, but I could not
find any drivers (beta or full) for it. Where can I find this driver? Please
help.

el900
It should be detected automaticly. However there has been
numerous report of problem with 905.

Actually, those problems are mostly with a card people THINK are
a 905 but are actually a 900.

Hi Guvenc,
Check out:
http://support.qnx.com/support/bok/solution.qnx?10063
This will describe how to setup a network card on the RTP. The driver you want
to use is the el900

Take care!
Erick.

I’ve just found something interesting about these cards, or more
specifically, the newest version, the 30C95CX-TXM. 3Com must have changed
something because the 3C905C-TXM works just fine.
I’ve had the exact same problem under Linux too, with the exact same
symptoms. (Card is there, looks good, looks like its working, but all that
comes our are error packets and garbage.)
Are the any plans for QNX to support the newer version?

Nice. I will take a look into this. Thanks.

If it helps you any, the 3Com driver patches for Linux kernel 2.2.x
work but Donald Becker’s built-in stuff doesn’t.
