package installation

I’m faily new to QNX but I have quite a few years of experience with unix.
I have gotten QNX up and running fine now I want to use the QNX WWW
repository in the package manager to install the latest updates. When ever
I try to download and install any packages that are appx. over 2 megs in
size the connection will timeout. Is there some settings that I need to
make this work better for me or is there another way of getting the packages
and then being able to install them.

Thanks

Shane

I have a similar problem.

Trying to upgrade to QNX6 which is 12 MBytes.
My connection timed out before the package was fully
retrieved.
So I connect again expecting the package manager to be
clever enought not to retrieve the files it already got, and
it starts overwriting them again.
My free ISP gives me 1 hour, which is not quite long enough.

Ideally if I can retrieve the files one by one using ftp or something,
that would solve the problem.
