Same problems as some others. Cannot get modem to connect. Modem is
ActionTec ISA, definitly not a Win modem. I set the jumpers to Com
Port 3 IRQ 4. What is this business about “devc-ser 8250”? Please be
specific. I am learning Unix (Posix?} but have only been at it a
couple of days and havent quite mastered it yet. (Joke)
Hi Jon,
Check out the online docs on devc-ser8250
http://support.qnx.com/support/docs/neutrino_qrp/utilities/utils-d.html
Lookup devc-ser8250 and there are a few examples on how to use
devc-ser8250. Once you see how this works, run devc-ser8250 with
the correct parameters (base address and IRQ) of your modem.
Take care!
Erick.
