Hi,
I have tried installing QNX on my Compaq Armada 7800 (laptop).
Installation went smooth, though after reboot I was prompted with:
A new video card has been detected. Please verify
these video driver settings before continuing.
Video Driver: s3 (ViRGE MX)
Resolution 1024x768
Color Depth: 16-bit
Refresh Rate: 60
Then, whatever I choose “Test” or “Continue”,
screen becomes scrapped and unreadable.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Glebas
Hi Glebas,
What version of the RTP are you running - September or January?
Regards,
Joe

Joe,
I don’t know - I have downloaded it few weeks ago.
Thanks,

Hi,
Could you post the output of:
ls -l /lib/dll/devg-s3.so
so we can see the date of the S3 driver.
Also in the meantime - if haven’t already done so,
try the vesabios driver.
Regards,
Joe
