I donāt think Xircom is supported. Since youāre working on laptop, Iād
suggest to buy a wireless card (Lucent Orinoco is probably best choice).
That will be justified (since you get new functionality, not just new card)
and will work with QNX.
That of course will dent about $350 from your pocket (you need card + acces
point) but I did that and enjoy being off hook now
Or find sme NE200-compatible cheapo ā¦

I have a network card but I dont know if it is supported, its a Xircom
RealPort PCMCIA modem/10-100 Ethernet card. Anyways, I shouldnt need a CD
burner to develop, its not for other people simply to build up a
knowledge,
im good at making an abudance of apps to make me more productive, anyways
im
off to the QNX site now as I have just downloaded and installed the latest
version, and it seems to have a few bugs.
Cheers

You donāt have network card and you donāt have CD burner and you want to
develop. Hmm. Youāre going to wasting your time. Go buy a supported
network card is best advise I can give you. Should not be unbearable for
budget these days.

Thats one of the problems, I dont have a CD burner, is there any other
way I
can get PHAB?, I have been wanting to develop some QNX apps for a long
time
now, and now is the perfect time to get up to speed, but alas, i cant
find
PHAB. Maybe there is something similar available?

PhAB is part of the development packages which are available from
QNX
Repository. If your network card is not supported, you might want to
download the ISO image and burn a CD to do the installation.

Right, I used to have a QNX CD which I was given at a QNX seminar,
but
unfortunately I dont have it anymore. So I chose to download QNX
from
the
web and do you think that I can find anywhere to download PHAB??
no,
the
QNX
web site on the whole is pants, and so are all the partner
sites!!!,
where
is PHAB!!!, please note that I have to download the package file
within
Windows, as I cant get QNX online, due to it not being very
supportive!!!
