6.1 and 6.0 repository files compatebility

Hi,

I was wondering, can i install the 6.1 and use the repository of the 6.0?

We have duplicated all the packages of our repository for the QNX 6.1.0.
repository. 3rd party repositories will continue to work with 6.1 and
all QNX
6.0 applications will run under QNX 6.1

Ok, so the recompile rumor I heard is wrong? Please confirm
this as it would simplify life quite a bit.

The 6.0 apps will run, but they require ‘compatibility libraries’ which are
silently installed by the package manager.

Any existing applications will run using compatibility libs for QNX
6.0.0.
If you want your application to take advantage of any new fixes,
features,
etc. then the application should be re-built using new development
system.
You can also target your application at PPC, MIPS, ARM, StrongARM, and
SH4.
XScale support will appear in the fall.
