Burn QNX app to BIOS flash?

Is it possible to replace the BIOS on a desktop PC motherboard with a QNX kernel and application?

Yes it’s possible (in theory), you just need the specs how to do it. You may have to kill pci_server before doing so though. As far as I know there is no tool in existance to replace BIOS in QNX. Usually these tool are provided by motherboard maker and for Windows/Dos only.

Some vendors do support QNX4, namely Octagon was shipping a tool to burn QNX into it’s flash for PC500 card.
