is this ok?

Could someone explain me the following.

I just installed QNX RTP v6.01, and afterwards I installed some more
things like quake doom PhIRC and things that are given with the QNX ISO
cd image.
But when I did restart the system after install, the new installed
programs didn’t appear in the shelves and program menus…
is it the new way of working of the 6.01 version

Before I had the QNX RTP v6, and thoses programs did appear on the menus
and shelves. But as I didn’t have enough place to upgrade to 6.01 (I
took 600 Mbytes at the installation when the install program did ask me
to create some place. I’m not using a partition install), I decided to
re-install by allocating more working place to QNX (1650 MBytes).

So, is there something wrong or is QNX 6.01 just preventing the add of
shortcuts in the shelves and menus…

and it would be so nice if someone were telling me how to allocate more
space to QNX even after you’ve installed, i don’t want to have to
re-install again…)

thx a lot
bye

I forgive to say that patch A and then B were installed on my previous QNX
v6 version (don’t know if this info might be helpful)
