dinit -m message?how2?

I tried best to replace the message of “Hit ESC to boot from .altboot…”
with dinit -m message, but no matter what I did,the old message still
existed.I did like this:

dinit -m “message string” -f file.ifs /dev/fd0
or
dinit -m message string . -f file.ifs /dev/fd0
or
dinit -m string1_string2_string3 -f file.ifs /dev/fd0

no command line works, how can I replace the “Hit…” message?

thanks

ChaoLi

Ahhh the pains I would have avoided if I had just checked the PR
database. Sigh (as Erick goes back to reinstalling QNX on his system).

Hello ChaoLi,

The help documentation isn´t the problem, it´s the utility that must be
fixed to allow for the -m option to work.

Regards,
Dave B.
