core files

Hi,
I’d like to ask about core files which sometimes I have. I’m about crashes of QNX tools, of course.
Are they interesting for anybody? Usualy I erase them, because they are quite big. The information
which is printed by coreinfo is helpless for me, but I feel it can be helpful for tools developers.
Is any strategy about it? The plaympegaudio_noph crashed acassional yestarday. I can send 2Mb by
e-mail, I can print here coreinfo’s output… or I can delete it?

TIA,
Eduard.

Hello Eduard,

Core files are a good way to allow developers to track down problems
with their code. If you have an application that is coring on a regular
basis then you can report a bugs to the following address.
http://qdn.qnx.com/report/problem_report.html
If this is a problem that hasn´t been entered into our bug tracking
system before then you may be asked to provide the core file to the
developer.

Regards,
Dave B.
