File downloads

Hello,
I’ve just got QNX via a download, unfortunately my current modem is a
winmodem, therefore I cannot update/download whilst using qnx. Is there any
way I can download the files through windows then import them into qnx and
have them installed.

any assistance would be gratefully received,

Paul Robinson

Hi Paul,
You could download files under any OS. Then save them on shared disk, for example, FAT partition.
You’ll have access to FAT partition under QNX in order to install them. Use “pkg-installer
-ufile:///path/filename.qpr” in order to install .qpr packages. Or just click “Add repository” in
“Package Installer” and fill out path for installing .qpk&.qpm packages.
HTH.
Best regards.
Eduard.
