Getting Voyage or Mozilla to reconzie a proxy server

I have my small network at home and i have win 98 on one machine with the
DSL connection shared for internet use but i cannot get qnx 6.1 voayage or
mozilla to connect through the proxy server on the 98 machine to get on the
web. wheni ping the 98 machine and try some of there other sections of the
proxy it works but not the http side. When i watch for netowrk traffic on
my net card wheni have voyager loaded i don’t see any activity at all as if
it is not broadcasting out.

i have already set it up for that but nothing happens at all the page does
not laod nothing laods at all it does not even reconize the network at all

Have you setup to use a proxy server in Voyager and Mozilla? In Voyager
you can go to Edit->Preferences then select the Connection tab to setup
to use the Proxy server to use. In Mozilla you can go to
Edit->Preferences then select the Proxies under the Advanced section to
do this.

Hello Joe,

Can you connect to the QNX WWW Repository using the Package Installer?
I´m just guessing here but is it possible that your proxy server isn´t
allowing your other system to use the proxy server?
