internet connection

Hi all!It’s my first time with qnx,it look great but how i do for install my
hight speed connection .I have ethernet card (d-link 530tx)and alcatel speed
touch home hight speed modem.Can you explaine to me the process with full
detail because I’m a windows98,me, xppro user

note : my internet connection it’s the one thing isn’t work on qnx.Excuse my
inglish i’m a french canadian

What I did was use the “hack” to convert my SpeedTouch Home into a
SpeedTouch Pro. That way the modem does the PPPoE for you. You get a
raw-ethernet connection out of the back of the modem. You can plug it
straight into a hub and all of your machines will have a true ethernet
connection.

Otherwise you’ll have to install PPPoE onto your QNX box.

I’d really recommend the hack. I’m glad I did it.
