to use my local network i need to change the MAC address of the network card
in my machine. I can do this fine under windows and linux, but how do i
change it under QNX RTP?

Hello Jeremy,
Take a look in the help under the driver you are using for your NIC.
Most drivers will allow you to specify ‘mac=xxxxxxxx’ when starting it.
