PPPoe

I am trying to setup PPPoe on QNX and have run into the following problem.
The PPPD starts fine and connects to the server but then I receive the
following error.

LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests

Any thougths.

TIA.

Sean

Try grabbing the new version of pppd available on developers.qnx.com (under
fixes). This version fixes an authentication bug (as well as others).

With a PC, I always felt limited by the software available.
On Unix, I am limited only by my knowledge.

Well I upgraded the pppd as suggested but still don’t connect. I have
verified my user name and password and they are fine. Is there any way to
capture the negotiation ? or is there some other setting that I should look
at ?

You can enable pop up the terminal window in the dialer. Or make sure
you’re running syslogd, and check the system logs for more information.
