Creative AWE64 sound card

How can I install drivers for this card? It is listed under ‘supported
hardware’ but I can’t find where to download the drivers. Thank you.

I’m sorry, I should have specified: it’s an ISA card, so it’s (naturally)
not showing up on the PCI bus.

I’m assuming here that you are using QNX 6.1.

You can try to start the driver manually with the following.
#slay io-audio
#io-audio -dsb

If this doesn’t work you can try the above again but pass in the
information you get from ‘pci -vvv’ for the card, like IRQ and the base
address.

Something else to look at is that your PnP OS is turned off in the
systems BIOS.

If all this fails, post the output from the Multimedia (Audio) section
of your pci -vvv.

Regards,
Dave B.

The owners manual for the audio card should indicate what the range is
for the IO port and IRQs. You can use this to start the card manually.
Again, make sure your PnP OS is turned off in the BIOS.
