creating cd ques

Hi. I’ve downloaded the qnx iso file. I’ve have nero burning software for
win98. I’m not exactly sure how to go about burning this thing. I burned it
as CDROM (ISO) but nothing happens when you reboot with cd installed (yes, I
have cd boot enabled in bios). I burned using CDROM(boot) emulating floppy
disk. This doesn’t seem to do anything either. I’ve never burned an iso
image, if someone could gave me basic steps on how to get started…so I can
get to the installer, I can do it from there…

I am installing qnx rtp onto a dedicated, secondary hard-disk btw (where my
beos used to reside).

help would be greatly appreciated!

Go to http://www.fireburner.com and download Fireburner. It will burn the
ISO for you.

When you start it up select “Visual Cue Burner”. Then right click on the
window and select “Load tracks from ISO”. Then right click again and select
“Burn”. Change the burn speed if necessary. Also deselect “Test” if you
don’t want to test the burn beforehand.

You want to just burn a CD from the image. The .iso has all of the
stuff in it to boot already. Use Disk At Once mode instead of Track
At Once mode. If your CD-R drive does not suport Disk At Once you
cannot burn a CD directly from the .iso file. I don’t have Nero
on this PC, but I’m sure it either has a create from image on the
“wizard” screen (Nero 5.x) or when you go to create a data CD it
may be on the File menu. EZ-CD Creator 4 has “Create CD from image”
on its File menu and supports .iso plus its own .cif format.
I used it and it worked fine.
