It should allow you to make an install disk. If you do so, then you
can boot from the floppy it creates and do a partition install.
Before you do that, make sure there is room for a partition, preferably
on your primary IDE hard drive… but don’t create a partition.. the
installer will automatically do this.
If you motherboard BIOS is old, you may not be able to install if the
only free room is too far into the disk. Most PC’s since 1998 can boot
anywhere on the disk, but you should have LBA mode enabled.
