Resource temporarily unavailable

Hello,

More testing on Toshiba CDT440 Pentium 130MHz 80MBRAM. No GUI.
During booting after Processor #1: I have

Unable to allocate resource: Resource temporarily unavailable
Unable to allocate resource: Resource temporarily unavailable
Unable to allocate resource: Resource temporarily unavailable

Then Press the space bar to input boot options …
Anyway the kernel is booting, sysinit ok. I must stop Photon with
CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-BACKSPACE

What it is about ?

2. Why a normal user has rights to shutdown the OS !?

I can’t tell you about the problems with your Toshiba, but I do know that
just about any “Unix-like” OS won’t let anyone but root perform a halt. In
a multi-user environment, this is ideal. You wouldn’t want some “normal”
user rebooting the machine when there are several other people logged in.
