npm-ttcpip.so vs npm-tcpip.so

Hi to all,

I’m working with sockets and I’m not able to set the timeout on receive through setsockopt(SO_RCVTIMEO). I’ve read on the online documentation (http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/6.3.0/neutrino/utilities/n/npm-ttcpip.so.html) that this option is supported only with the full TCP/IP stack.

How can I know if the tiny version (npm-ttcpip.so) of TCP/IP stack or the full one (npm-tcpip.so) is running?
In the first case how can I use the full instead of the tiny one?

Thanks in advance,
Gianluca

pidin -Pio-net mem
will tell you if u use npm-ttcpip.so or npm-tcpip.so

there should be /etc/system/enum/include/net which should contain the basic io-net command

Thank you, it works!

I’m using the full TCPIP stack version.

At this point my problem is to learn how to use setsockopt().

Thanks again,
Gainluca
