Booting DELL latitude with and without the docking station.

I use a Dell Latitude CPx machine and have installed the 26.09.2000 QRTP
free download on it.
I normally use the PC in a docking station with a separate CRT, keyboard and
mouse. An ethernet LAN connection is also there.

When I remove my PC from the docking station (without ethernet, CRT and
external keyboard/mouse) and runs it stand-alone the machine cannot complete
the QNX boot process. The last lines before it stops are:

File ./swapfile successfully added as a swap device
Mode not found in table
devi-hirun kbd fd -d/dev/kbd ps2 kb -2

After that it is all dead.
I have set up the boot process do start Photon automatically.(it does not
reach that far in stand-alone)

Please advice!

It sounds like you’ve configured Photon for a graphics mode that is only
available when you have the machine plugged into the docking station.
