What network card do you have? Could you post the output from pci and
nicinfo?

Its a 3 Com EtherLink XL PCI 10Mb Adapter (3C900)

nicinfo

3com (90x) 10 Base-T/100 BASE-TX Ethernet Controller

Physical Node ID … 000097 B4C00
Current Physical Node ID … 000097 B4C00
Media Rate … 0 kb/s half-duplex UTP
MTU … 1514
Lan … 0
I/O Port Range … 0x6100 → 0x613F
Hardware Interrupt … 0x9
.
.
.
.

pci

PCI Version = 2.10

Class = Network (Ethernet)
Vendor ID = 10b7h, 2Com Corporation
Device ID = 9001h, 3C900-COMBO Fast Etherlink XL PCI 10
PCI Index = 0h
IO Address = 6100h enabled
Expansion ROM = ffef0000h disabled
PCI Int Pin = INT A
Interrupt Line = 9

I’ve tried tp ping other computers on the network but it just gets a Host Down

error… and I cant ping the QNX computer from any other computer on the
network either…

Well, there is the problem right there! The card doesn’t see
a link. I think we are having some issue with the plain 900 card
right now. I have a 3C900B-TPO right now to do testing with, let
me see what I can figure out.
