I am trying to install QNX RTOS (w/ Neutriono) on my Intel PC and it
does not find my AHA 2940UW controller. Any solutions to this problem??

This release doesn’t support SCSI (check your install/release notes). Wait
for the next patch which hopefully will support it, or stick an IDE drive in
there.

Hmmmmm… I am really confused as to what I actually have as far as QNX
goes. On the box, it says “QNX RTOS”. There is a CD in the box, which
says “Product Suite June 2000” and there are two floppies "
Strangly enough, I went home (I have a PII with 440BX mother) and tried
the installation and it found the Adaptec 2940UW card and assigned the
aha7 QNX driver to it with no problem… so I am suspecting QNX does not
like the Intel 815 chipset that is on the server @ work ;(
any ideas?

You’re describing QNX4 CDROM. These groups are about QNX RTP aka QNX
Neutrino aka QNX6.

And QNX4 supports the 2940 as you found out with the aha7scsi driver so you
should be all set. If it didn’t go for you at work, there’s another culprit at
work…
