Installing on an Asus A7V motherboard, on a hd on ATA100

I have 2 harddrives on the ata100 controler and when I go to install qnx it
doesn’t detect the harddrives. is there anyway to fix this?

ata100 controllers are not supported/working in RtP yet, don’t know when that’ll be included…

I think this board has 1 UDMA66 and 1 UDMA100. If you move your drive to the
dma66 controller it should work.

Hi,
I have same problem, but my motherboard is in UDMA-66 Mode (but chipset has
ata100 option too). For me effect was that HDD was detected but disk was damaged

  • I mean not physicaly only logicaly. I have reinstalled my OS (win/linux
config). But for me is important to know is this problem fixed yet with new
release i have downloaded from qnx site on 19-Jan-2001 (260 MB ISO  ). Please
contact me via e-mail for more info about chipset ant etc.

Regards Jordan.
