Installing QRTP to its own partition?

Hello.

I was wondering if there is a way (or if there is in the works) a means
by which the QRTP can be installed to its own partition, without using
Windows or QNX4 as a host OS. In previous versions, the QRTP has just
been installed to a very large file that resides in the OS one installed
QRTP under.

What I would like to do is to be able to use a boot manager (ie. Boot
Magic) to boot multiple OS’s from their own partitions.

If anyone would be willing to steer me in the right direction as to how
this can be done, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Rodney

boot from the cd and it should ask you if you want to create a partition.

This has always been supported. If you get the iso image
and burn a cd, then just boot from the cd and it will walk
you through the process.

Other conditions shall be satisfied if you want to install the RTP in a
seperate partition:
1,you shall be able to boot your machine from the CD,if can’t,in
windows, make a QNX boot floppy disk
2,if you have just one hd,the number of pre installed OS shall not more the
three, that is,there shall be at least a slot for QNX
3,you shall have a boot manager to provide you the choices to enter an
OS,or simply set that to be the QNX loader during the installing process.

GOO LUCK.

Some boot managers allow to boot OS from logical drive in Extended partitions.
