Patch A package manager update not available

I got an email today that said I should use the package manager to get
a package manager upgrade that would get me a patch A upgrade. When I
use the package manager to go to the WWW repository, I do not see a
package manager upgrade, and therefore cannot do the patch A upgrade.
I am currently using a patch A beta. Can I force a re-download of the
package manager, or can you tell me what the www repository target
machine and directory are so that I can try to set up a link to it
through the package manager? I notice that the machine and directory
details of the www repository are hidden in the package manager. Why
is this? It makes it kind of tough to verify that I’m looking in the
right place for the new software.

Cheers,
Andrew

Ok. What appears to have really happened is that I already have the
Patch A package manager, just not the Patch A package manager that I
am supposed to have. If I point the package manager at
http://cap.qnx.com/repository, then I can see the Patch A package
manager available for download, but it is already checked and greyed
out. I cannot re-install it, so I cannot update it to point to the
correct package site.

Can somebody please tell me what the correct package URL is for the
Patch A update. I am quite happy to manually point the package
manager to it, once I know what it is.

Thanks,
Andrew

Would anybody like to take a crack at this one? URL?

Nope, that’s not it either. This URL leads me to a repository that
only contains the Patch A update to the package manager. My computer
already thinks it has the Patch A update to the package manager,
even though it is in fact the first Beta of Patch A that is really
installed.

Am I correct that updating the package manager really just updates the
default package location to look at for the rest of the software? If
so, where would it point me?

Alternatively, can I trick the package manager into thinking that it
is not the Patch A version (in reality it doesn’t appear to be
anyway), and then cause it to re-install the Patch A version so that
it will follow the normal upgrade path?

Thanks,
Andrew
