PCI BIOS BOOT Problem

Hi there…

updated today the QNXRTP - now hangs the Toshiba CS100…

starting in w95,

‘Press space bar to input boot options…’
pci-bios: No BIOS present - Status ffffffff - errno 0!
pci_server: No dll loaded!
/dev/pci did not mount
_

…game over…
Tosh hangs, just cursor is blinking.

Hm, possible due: The cs100 is without ‘PCI’-BIOS

The former version was booting, unfortunately I don’t have this version any
longer (lack of space).

I tried the boot options, too. Always the same result.
Anyone here with a solution, sugestion, please??
Maybe anywhere the former version archived to dl?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,

I have the same issue on my 486 laptop, I am in the process of trying to
change the setup. I belive that the issue stems down to startup scripts
that assume that /dev/pci is present. I will try and keep you
posted on the status of this.

I also have a 486 same problem. How do you change the setup, when my
notebook hangs and I can’t change anything?
Do I press space bar to change input boot options?

I used the space bar to change input boot options and I selected F6 for
“Verbose”. I works until it get to the point where it starts the pci-bios.
Then I get the message:
“Unable to allocate resource: Resource temporarily unavailable”
“pci_server: PCI_Startup fail!”
“/dev/pci did not mount”

Ruben.
