Dialup… perhaps your ISP is not using PAP negotiation - I’ve not ever seen
that - in which case you need to do an interactive login… then you’ll
get the username: and password: prompts… it appears that your modem is
dialing and connecting correctly and has nothing to do with the modem
itself…
