Samba error?

I’m getting a Windows popup error message when trying to map to a share on
RTP from Win2k that says “The account is not authorized to log in from this
station”.

The “hosts allow” and “hosts deny” sections of smb.conf are empty.
According to the docs, this allows all machines access. So why would an
error like this get generated?

A stab in the dard, this is a permission that can be set in your win2k
account.
(don’t know where though)
