Everything goes smoothly until I get to the notice about
installing viertual fonts – please wait, or some such note.
On a Pentium II powered Abit BX6-2 system, with Voodoo 3500
video, the system then freezes, whether I’m doing the
install froma raw partition or internal to a Win98 partition.
On a similar system ( same MB ), with a Matrox MIllenium II,
the install goes smoothly.
Therefore I’m inclined to believe that something in the
video is a problem.
When I boot with option F1 no problems. I get the above
freeze with or without DMA on ide.

Just a note, I use the Voodoo 3500 without problems on
a Dual Gigabit motherboard. It uses the same driver as
the 3000.

I got the install to proceed by turning off most of the
enumerators.
