I have the QNX iso, I have burned it successfully, I cant boot to it,
thats problem 1,
Problem 2 = i try to boot into QNX (fresh install on primary drive setup
from within win95c from the cd) and all i get is a cursor in the upper
lefthand corner of the screen) I have disabled all DMA and USB to help
aleviate this problem and tried booting into QNX/no dma with no success.
i have tried to boot to a QNX boot floopy (also made from the cd image) with
much the same luck…with diskett i get “Press ESC for other OS” and a row
and a half of dots.
during this process there is no activity from the pc at all(i have left it
like that overnight thinking maybe I was just impatient)
any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an ATAPI CD-ROM drive and recent motherboard BIOS? When
was the last time you checked for a BIOS upgrade? Have you ever booted
any CD on your computer?
If you know for sure your computer will boot a CD successfully, and it
won’t boot this one, then you probably didn’t burn it successfully.

It sounds like it can’t make hide nor hair of your disk controller.
What kind of PC is this? What motherboard? What kind of disk controllers
do you have in it?

Right off the bat… i get no command line or errors…just hangs
immediately with blinking underscore in upper left hand corner
(boot from floppy-cursor falls on bottom left corner under the dots)

Acer 8x2x2x CD-RW
128 MB 72pin RAM 8slots (all matched pairs same brand)

3com 905c 10./100 NIC

I have had the exact same problem with a Tyan Tomcat for every RTP
distribution since the first availability last summer. You are at least the
third person to report it. My system works fine with Win95, Win98 and Linux.
I’ve reported it multiple times, but QSSL has never taken an interest in
finding the source of the problem.
