Benzy,
I too am suffering the same problems. But just noticed something
I am starting to believe there is a problem with my download of the ISO
image.
My first attempt (and the image I burnt onto the CD and inturn booted with
and built my OS with) , its file size is reported at 159Meg ??? Yet I was
able to install the OS with this image!!!.
I thought I might try the download again (In fact I have tried it three
times today and each time it has said it completed but the file sizes have
been 168Meg, 118Meg and 127Meg.)
The first two download times I witnessed the status bar go all the way out
to 442Meg, BUT the TEMPORARY disk space where the file gets downloaded to
(in my case D:) before being trasfered to its final destiation (E:) (Running
NT at this point) only had about 200 to 100 Meg available on it. (Never
got a disk full message). Thus I thought the ISO image was simply dropping
off at the point where the temporary storge space fills up but carried o
dowloading like there was no problems
After clearing enough drive space I then tried the next two downloads but
they too fell short.
So my gut feeling at the moment is that the ISO image repositry area is
being corrupted by failed transfers that look like they complete properly.
I’m going to keep on trying to download until I get the full 442 Meg file
and then see what happens

Hi,
I’ve just installed the 6.1 release. Well done guys you have made a lot of
progress.
Anyway, there is a problem to use the repository, which is on the disk at
“/repository” and “/repository2”.
The scenario is:
I click on the “Installer” button.
I click on the “QNX CD-RPM Repository”
I’m getting a popup which writes:
“Unable to access repository:
Location: file:///fs/cd0/reposiroty”
I’ve also tried to add another repository “repository2” which is on the
disk too and i’ve got the same problem.
After copying the files from the cd to the local hard drive, everthing
worked !!!
Best of luck
