Would I be right in saying the 6.1.0 STILL has this problem?
The problem was first introduced with 6.0 patch B. Diskboot hangs if there
is no pci device leaving the system displaying the message
/dev/pci did not mount

Definatly not… atleast not here, i upgraded my 486 using the standard
image and everything works great… it actually has been working great
using the default image since patch B.

Hmmm…very strange. I still get the same problem with all versions of
QNXRTP after and including 6.0A !!
For example when I boot from the QNXRTP 6.1.0 floppy with verbose options I
get:
Starting pc-bios
Can’t locate PNP BIOS (no errors)
Hardware mechanism 2 not supported
pci_server: No DLL loaded!
/dev/pci did not mount
Anymore know what hardware mechanism 2 is!!
