After 6.1 upgrade QNX WWW Repository Gone?

I have tried to access QNX’s Repository
http://packages.qnx.com/repository/repository.qrm
since upgrading to QX RTP 6.1 but with no success using the package manager.

I have it setup for being behind a firewall. I also tried to access it using
Voyager and was
able to access http://packages.qnx.com/repository/ but the directory is empty.

Has this repository been moved?

I have the same problem. With QNX RTP 6.0, this worked perfectly, now with
6.1 it doesn’t anymore.

Hi guys :
I had the same problem . The solution:

  1. After you have installed ver 6.1.0 → Download with Voyager(!!!) the CD immage
from the qnx site . You will get qnxrtp.iso into some directory let’s say /tmp

  2. mount -t cd /tmp/qnxrtp.iso /fs/cd0

  3. now click on your pkg-installer, and click on CD repository. You will have
    everything guys !!!

Good luck !

The CD download is a nice workaround, but the www repository should work. What about updates not available on CD.

Hello,

This surely works, but the problem is getting patches and updates that are
delivered in non-CD format. As Glenn said, the repository on
http://packages.qnx.com/repository/ is empty (even checked with Voyager).
Colin Burgess’ http://staff.qnx.com/~cburgess/freestuff is not empty, but
still the package installer cannot find anything there.

The error message from the package installer is the same in both cases, it
cannot find file repository.qrm. Why did this work for 6.0? Should it work
for 6.1? If this qrm file is some kind of inventory for 6.1, shouldn’t it be present
so that the package installer could work correctly?

Does the WWW repository work for anyone after the upgrade to 6.1?

Behind the firewall it does not work for me too ( although I setup into my pkg-installer
proxy, port, userId and password properly), but from home where I don’t have firewall it
works!!!
