More a doubt than a question, but...

… I’m downloading the “qnxrtp.exe (29M)” version and I’d like to install
it in my PC with Windows 2000.
They say it must be run by Windows and it install itself in the Windows
filesystem.

Does the later phrase which says “(Windows will no longer be running)” means
that, afer the install, QNX will replace 2000 or makes it unusable?

I know it may sounds stupid but I’ve just started knowing QNX and want to be
sure.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Novag,

It means that when you install QNX in the Windows partition you will be given
the option at bootup of booting into either QNX RTP or Windows. This lets you
install QNX RTP without repartitioning your hard drive. So to answer your
question, QNX will not replace 2000 or make it unusable. Note, howerver, that
RTP can’t be installed on an NTFS partition.
