Resuming upgrade on slow connections

Hello,

I want to upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1. When I connect to the WWW repository,
I see that the QNX core is about 55 MB. With my Internet connection I
estimate it would take over 5 hours to upgrade just this OS core.

So my question is: if I should interrupt the upgrade, can I restart it
from where I left of, or would I have to restart from scratch?

Also, is it dangerous to interrupt the upgrade half way through?

Thanks in advance.

regards,
rick

I think you would have to restart from scratch.

I don’t it is, because it first downloads the file then it performs
upgrading.

be careful - I did it recently and it destroyed my whole installation -
no reboot was possible. I was very angry !! It seems as if the package
manager of 6.0 has a bug …
What I then did is just got the CD-Rom  - and that run like hell
